Here’s a look at the week by week breakdown

  • During week one : we’ll acknowledge those feelings of “stuckness” (or whatever you’re experiencing right now) in your creative journey. And by becoming present (as opposed to feeling guilty over where you’ve gotten stuck or stumbled in your creative practice, or worrying over when and how you’ll get this project finished) you’ll find a way forward. We’ll explore the concept of inquiry as an ally in your creative practice, and you’ll learn the KEY Method.

Your homework will be: playing with that method through exercises and a guided meditation, which will help you get more comfortable with the practice. In addition I’ll ask you to spend 30 minutes a day writing in order to flesh out the next two chapters of your project.

  • During week two: we’ll explore the energy of your creative practice in order to pinpoint some specific areas of opportunity to improve this critical component. We’ll start to consider the choices that make you feel most nurtured when you’re depleted. And we’ll talk about using the art of inquiry inside the inspiration.

Your homework will be: daily exercises that will help you begin to shift the paradigm of your routine in order to reach your creative goals.

  • During week three: we’ll cultivate the habit of creativity, and you’ll begin to experience some measurable momentum in your project. We’ll explore how to nurture that gift by engaging the muse through inquiry and compassion.

Your homework will be: experimenting with habit - your creative habits - by using the weekly meditation provided, and playing with inquiry and compassion in your creative practice in order to help you be more generative, and more generous with yourself.

  • During week four: our focus will be on relationships: how we relate to ourselves, to our work, and to each other. As you become a witness to what is, you’ll learn to utilize curiosity and investigation as necessary tools for your creative toolbox.

Your homework will be: using the guided meditation and a written exercise sheet to help you identify the tools currently in your creative toolbox, and some you may want to add.

  • During week five: we’ll talk about the inevitability of change, and how to let go of thoughts, feelings and judgments around your creative practice in order to experience more equanimity and flow. We’ll learn to practice letting go and letting be, and we’ll use inquiry as a helpful tool in that pursuit.

Your homework will be: an exercise in impermanence that will help you find peace and flow in your creative journey.

  • During week six: we’ll focus on motivation. Now that you’ve gotten to the flow state, we’ll make sure you know how to keep going, and stay connected. And we’ll start to play with how we lean in and meet the edge.

Your homework will be: a checklist to help you continue to use the KEY Method and the other tools you’ve gained here as part of your daily/weekly creative practice, and to join the pen and portal membership to stay in the flow and stay connected to me and other women on the same journey.

Plus you’ll also get access to these delightful bonuses:

  • A checklist: How To Find Your Flow and Finish Your WIP

  • A free worksheet to get your ideas down and initiate creative flow

  • Free access to one month’s worth of writing prompts

  • A resource guide that includes places to come back to again and again

  • An extended membership option

“This is a brain-expanding class that anyone can attend and everyone will love! The words you leave with are yours to cherish and be inspired by when you feel your muse is dormant. Truly inspiring!”
